(Follow the linked names for descendents of that person)

John and Agnis Scott were Scots-Irish by origin and probably came to Boston from Northern Ireland in the early 1700's.  They are known to have been living in Brookfield, MA in the 1730's, in Westfield, MA in the 1740's, and in Blandford, MA in the 1750's.  Blandford was a largely Scots-Irish community, originally known as Glasgow.  John Scott was chosen as constable and hog reeve there in 1752.
I. John Scott, Jr. was born 2 Jun 1733, probably somewhere near Boston, MA.  He married Rachel Stewart, daughter of John Stewart and Sarah Ball (or Bell) on 25 Oct 1759 in Blandford, Hampden, MA.  He was among the first settlers of Murrayfield (later Chester), MA in 1763.  He was chosen as a selectman in Blandford in 1769, fought in the Revolution, and was a selectman in Blandford again from 1782-85.  By 1796, he had moved to Unadilla, Otsego, NY, where he was repeatedly elected path master and pound master.  John died 12 Nov 1819 in Unadilla, NY.
II. Sarah Scott was born c. 1739.  She married James Clark (1739, Colrain, Franklin, MA - 22 Apr 1792, Chester, Hampden, MA) on 26 Jun 1759 in Blandford, MA.  (Colrain was another Scots-Irish settlement, and the Clark family had come from Coleraine, Londenderry, Northern Ireland.)  They soon moved to Murrayfield, MA.  James served as a captain in the Revolution and distinguished himself at the siege of Boston.
III. David Scott was born 3 Aug 1742 in Westfield, Hampden, MA.  He was the son of John and Agnis Scott.  David fought in the French and Indian War in 1759 and was among the first settlers of Murrayfield, MA in 1763.  (At the time of the Revolution, he was living in Norwich, which had been created out of Murrayfield in 1773 and which was later renamed Huntington.)  He married (1) Mary by 1764.  He married (2) Susannah Bolton (7 Aug 1739 - 9 Apr 1812), prob. the daughter of John and Mary Bolton.  He was in Ontario County, NY by 1810 and in Geauga County, OH from 1817 to 1825.  David died 18 Jan 1833 in Wayland/Mead Township, Crawford, PA.
IV. Ann Scott was born 7 Mar 1747 in Westfield, Hampden, MA.  She married Roger Parks (or Parke) of Westfield (29 Aug 1752, Preston, New London, CT - 12 Aug 1836, Russell, Hampden, MA), son of Robert Parks and Mary Killam, on 18 Nov 1776 in Blandford, MA.  Ann died 12 or 21 Mar 1821 in Russell, Hampden, MA.
